Mr Steve is Steve Roslonek (aka children's songwriter/performer SteveSongs). He joined PBSKids in May of 2008 as co-host of the PBSKids Morning Block along with Miss Rosa and Hooper. Steve Roslonek as SteveSongs has been writing, recording and performing original kids music and stories since 1998, when he released his first full length album, 'Morning 'Til Night'. He has since released 4 more award winning albums:
1) 'On a Flying Guitar' - winner of a Parents' Choice GOLD award,
2) 'The King the Mice and the Cheese' - winner of a Children's Music Web best album of the year award,
3) 'Super Littleman' - winner of an iParentingMedia Best Album of the year award,
4) 'Marvelous Day' winner of a Parents' Choice GOLD award and NAPPA Honor
A DVD:
1) 'The Marvelous Musical Adventures of SteveSongs' (Rounder Records)
and a new CD in conjunction with PBSKids entitled MusicTime with SteveSongs which includes all 15 songs from his first season with PBSKids.
