Jason de-Vaux Balbirnie is a musician, writer and current chaplain to the city of Cambridge UK.

He was educated in Woodbridge Suffolk and studied at Moorlands Bible College Dorset.

In 1987 he scored and underground club it performing with the band Touch & Go, he recently recorded his first solo album, DNA, having performed and recorded with other artists and bands on projects in the last two decades.

His book Short accounts of the imperfect Christian has sold worldwide and he has followed up with a further two books in a series being, Songs from a sofa and Sermons from a sofa (Chaplaincy and more)

Jason was commissioned Chaplain to the city of Cambridge by the Bishop of Huntingdon in November 2012. He is also chaplain to the Grafton shopping centre in Cambridge.
