Multi-Talented Singer & Songwriter Helene Henn -born in 1974 - Stellenbosch.
Coming from a very musical family and background, she grew up singing since she was very young. She entered various competitions, i.e. KFM Battle of the Bands (with her brother Calla Henn (also a singer and songwriter) as well as Radio Good Hope's Vocal Search 1996 which she won and had the priveledge to go to New York where she was introduced to Arista Records.
She recorded her 1st solo debut album "DREAM OF LOVE" with Sony BMG with the welknown producer Dennis East with her No 1 hit on KFM 94.5 "Your Love" (A PERFECT OPENING SONG FOR ANY WEDDING).
She was the lead singer for the poprock band Black Diamond - her song "I will be the one" which featured on there 6 track album:' TRUE LIFE EXPERIENCE" hit No 2 on Radio 5 Top 40. Her song "Touched by you" went to NO 1 on KFM's Top 10.
She was sent to Germany by BMG Records to be part of the Songwriter's Festival in Goslar where she met some of the most famous songwriters worldwide namely: Lamont Dosier and many more. There she had the opportunity to write songs in workshops with many of them , which ended in a live performance by the artists in Germany with all the new material.
She joined the guitar player Graham Sindall-Gillot and formed a duo called Acoustica (Bio to be read on internet Acoustica with Helene Henn) and recorded cover songs with acoustic guitar-accompaniment. They recorded a CD "ACOUSTICA VOLUME 1" which is available on the internet via Rhytm Records.
She also recorded a Christian Contempory Rock Album called "NEW DAY' with producer, Darryl de Lange, in 2009 - soon to be released.
