Dannii Minogue has said in interviews that when Kylie was given the all clear from breast cancer in 2006 her best friend died from cancer. But she never said what cancer it was. She just said she noticed a pain one day like a kidney infection but it was cancer. She will not reveal the name of her best friend out of respect of her family.
