Cedric Diggory is a character in the Harry Potter series. He was two years older than Harry and was in Hufflepuff. He was a seeker for his Qudditch house team. In his sixth year he beat Harry in a Qudditch match when Harry fell of his broom because of the dementors. In his final year at Hogwarts he entered the Triwizard Tournament and was picked as the first Hogwarts champion. He was killed in the graveyard for being 'the spare'.

He is played by Robert Pattinson in the film Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire and in a flashback in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix.

Unless you do not want me to ruin the end of the 7th book for you, I advise you to not read ahead.

Dumbledore does die from Snape, but it turned out that Snape and Dumbledore had planned it all along from the beginning. In the 7th book when Voldemort almost kills Harry, Harry goes to "King's Cross" and sees Dumbledore while in between sleep and death. So no, Dumbledore does not come back to life, but harry does get to see him in his vision before defeating Voldemort.

First off, Harry never actually dies. Though the killing curse hits him, he substituted himself for 1 of the 7 fragments of Voldemorts soul (The one that rested in Harry, therefore making Harry a horcrux).
