Amanda Brugel is a Canadian actress who was born in Montreal and lived in British Columbia and Alberta before settling in Southern Ontario. She was a ballerina for many years until discovering theatre at Eastdale Collegiate and Vocational Institute. She then attended York University on a Fine Art Scholarship for the BFA Theatre Programn. Even before graduation, the film industry came calling and Brugel went to work immediatley. Amanda has had supporting roles in such films as Jason X (2000), A Diva's Christmas Carol (2000) and Splice (2009). Brugel has Guest Starred on numerous TV series such as Soul Food (2001), Kojak (2005) and Naked Josh (2006). In May 2007, Brugel became a regular cast member of MVP (2008) and the third season of Paradise Falls (2008).
