Now I'm going a little crazy trying to find it somewhere as all I'm pulling up is an old animated version. The Hobbit was an animated story made in 1977. Orson Bean was the voice of Bilbo. John Huston was Gandalf and Richard Boone was Smaug. The Lord of the Rings was made by Ralph Bakshi in 1978 and contained a lot of animated pictures and a rather poor interpretation of the story.
