In Flair's autobiography he seems to treat Arn Anderson as his best friend, at least among people in the Wrestling business. Flair also states he was close friends with Ricky Steamboat, Sting, Triple H, and Shawn Michaels, as well as Roddy Piper.
Flair appears to have had good working relationships with almost everyone he shared a major story with through the years, including Barry Whyndam, Curt Henning, The Road Warriors, Lex Luger, Edge, Chris Jericho, Randy Orton, Batista, Undertaker, among others.
Brett Hart is the one competitor Flair did not seem to get along with, mostly from the war of words they exchanged about each other either in newspaper interviews or their books. Their matches were typically very good, including a 60 minute Iron Match Match at a Hartford CT house show in Jan 1993, as well as two televised matches in WCW in Jan and Feb 1998. Hart had criticized Flair years earlier, basically saing he felt he was overrated. Flair leveled very personal criticism against Hart over his recation to his brother's death while employed by WWE after Hart was let go from the company, as well as stating Hart was not a good draw. Flair has admitted however that part of the blame for any shortcomings Hart may have had drawing crowds as a main event star was due to lousy booking in both WWE and WCW.
Flair has stated before that at times he has gotten along well with Hulk Hogan, other times not so well though he has stated he could always deal with Hogan face to face and get an honest response, something he has said other people over the years were not so good at. Flair has also praised Hogan publicly for his work with the make a wish foundation.
Flair has praised the in ring work of Dusty Rhodes and Randy Savage many times but admitted to strained personal relationships with them.
Mick Foley had a public beef with Flair but the two both state they have resolved those issues and are on friendly terms today.
