Once when Risa kissed Dark, he transformed back to Daisuke, who then suspects Dark having feelings for Risa. When they were on a date, he asks Risa what she would do if he was really a monster, she says that she'll still love him. her reponse is really important to Dark. that's when he realizes what it feels like to "be loved". During the end of the date, Risa was kidnapped by Argentine. Dark becomes angry and shows no mercy.
