In 1979, Bob Thomson became the full-time host of "The Victory Garden" on PBS. The theme music used for his show is "Louisiana Fairy Tale" by Fats Waller.
The theme music for BILL MOYERS JOURNAL is the work of composer Michael Bacon. I do not believe that the music is commercially available at this time, but you might try visiting his website at http://www.michaelbaconmusic.com/
The song in the promo for PBS This belongs to you is the John Dunbar theme from the album Dances with the Wolves from a John Barry Album There are two This Belongs to You themes, One is The John Dunbar Theme, but the other one is "My Story Begins" by Graham Preskett. I did research, and found the other song that I heard on the promo.
Sesame Street, Masterpiece Theatre, Nova, Frontline... to name a few.

The current theme music, which has been in use since the 2000-2001 season, was composed by Mark Adler. The series' original theme music was composed by Charles Kuskin. According to the pbs/wgbh website, the music is not for sale anywhere but can be found on random websites with varying levels of quality given that it is typically copied directly from an American Experience broadcast.
Frontline airs many different documentaries including subjects like the government, money, education, outdoor activities and so many more.
Sesame Street, Masterpiece Theatre, Nova, Frontline... to name a few.
Frontline was originally aired in 1983 and was created by David Flanning and aired in America by PBS. The show started with Jessica Savitch as the anchorwoman but after she died it and Judy Woodruff took over as anchorwoman the anchorman/anchorwoman status of the show was abolished and each report was introduced by the narrator.
This is the greatest instrumental that has come along in a very long time! The name of it is "The John Dunbar Theme" by John Barry, and is the theme song to "Dances With Wolves". Warm regards, Connie - Indiana
Stories featured on the PBS Frontline often include stories from all over the world that are generating a lot of discussion. Stories related to wars and other governments are common for foreign stories. For stories inside the United States, stories about the government, military, and foreign policy show up commonly.
I think you might be referring to The John Dunbar Theme from Dances with Wolves. Or rather, if you are speaking of the the PBS Promo "Great Performances," played in the 2008-09 winter, it's Orquesta del Plata's 'Montserrat' by Bajofondo Tango Club. Listen to it at http://www.last.fm/music/Orquesta+del+Plata/_/Montserrat .
"Dynamics" by Richard Harvey.
