Very popular girl singing group in the 1930's and 1940's.

Hits include Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy of Company B (re-done by Bette Midler)Dude they r my heroes and i love there music. LaVerne was born in 1911 and died of cancer in 1965.

Maxane was born in 1916 and had a suicide attempt in 1955 because patty had went solo and she was lonely but survived and died in 1995.

Patty (my fave) Was born in 1918 and is still alive and is a 94 year-old woman in 2011. They were popular jazz singers that would go sing for the army in ww2 and yes they were real sisters and there real last name was andrews. hope im useful dude bb. oh and they did over 100 songs. including BOOGIE WOOGIE BUGLE BOY, RHUM AND COCA COLA and IN APPLE BLOSSUM TIME. oh and my fave DONT SIT UNDER THE APPLE TREE. They were also in eight movies.
