A tiger can weigh 360 kg and reach a length of 12 foot from nose to tail. A jaguar can weigh 160 kg and reach a length of 7 foot from nose to tail. Although a tiger is taller longer and heavier a jaguar has the strongest upper body strength of any feline ( in relative to body size), so probaly the jaguar if it was at its greatest weight and an alpha male.

No doubt- Jaguar is pound for pound the strongest cat, but this means that a jaguar can easily defeat a tiger of equal weight. But on average tigers are twice as heavy as a jaguar and have a great size advantage. So in a face off, tiger will easily kill a jaguar.

Because the smallest tiger subspecies, the Sumatran tigeritself is larger than a jaguar!

It would be no real contest. A healthy adult tiger would easily win a confrontation with a puma, because they are significantly larger in size. Puma would'nt stand a chance
