Love those twilight reality mysteries. I know what you are talking about but cannot remember the name of the story- Okay, a woman-actress, possibly also Heiress is knocked unconscious but stable in an automobile crash that may or may not have killed other people. She is kept alive at a hospital but awakes with no memory of the accident or who she is ( what about ID cards, license plates?) anyhow then the girl gets slipped or sees a Newspaper - her picture on the front page- Actress ( age given) Missing in freak accident presumed dead! but she is alive and well, I remember this Twilight but plausible plot in old movies. somebody else assumes her role- in the end, of course, all comes out well.
