All basic cello music is in F clef or bass clef, as it is more commonly known. Some more advanced pieces also go into Alto and more rarely, treble clef, but the primary clef for cello music is bass.
none have to be but most of the time Bass clef is almost always below middle C.
however it can go above from time to time. Also any clef can have any note in however for some clefs some particular notes would be very obscure.
From what I know, it would be the Treble Clef, in which would be used for Soprano, and Tenor parts. Alto and Bass would be for the Bass Clef.
Violin music is written using the treble clef.
A symbol indicating that the second line from the bottom of a staff represents the pitch of G above middle C. It's the clef that woodwinds play in. Bass clef is played in by brass players. -kani92 A Treble Clef is a symbol which represents the high pitched notes. It is also called the G clef because it starts on the second line of the Staff or Stave.A staff or stave is 5 lines and 4 spaces on which music notes are written on.
The F clef is commonly called the bass clef. Counting from the bottom, the lines are G,B,D,F and A, and the spaces are A, C, E, and G.
I am in orchestra and I play the violin, so I only know of 3 different clefs. The widely known is the Treble Clef, used for notes on the violin and 2nd violin notes. The next one is the Base Clef, used for violas and bases, as well as cellos. Lastly is the Alto Clef, for harps.
