People thought that Paul McCartney had died because on the album cover of abbey road album Paul had his cigarette in a different hand than he usually does I'm not even kidding the whole rumour started because someone noticed it. The fact is that Paul had his cigarette in that hand so that it could be seen in the photo (marketing reasons).

The answer is yes and no. The band Babel was actually all Stephen W. Parson. The band was his backup for the movie. The only album they appear on is the soundtrack for the film. Their have been digital MP3 copies of the soundtrack that have been traded through peer to peer sites. And the videos of some of his work from that soundtrack can been seen on the You Tube website. Stephen W. Parson is an accomplished composer.
It's debatable whether Sublime even made that song. It doesn't sound like them to me.. and apparently it's a cover.
