I firmly believe it was taken at the Los Angeles Music Center, Mark Taper Forum in the southwest corner of the reflecting pool looking north. If you Google "Los Angeles County Music Center The Mark Taper Forum visualphotos" you will find a photo of the same building, but further away. In that photo, the camera is also looking north. Barry was under the columns on the left side of the building. In the background you can see a 5-6 story building that is also visible in the background on the left side of the album cover photo.
