Hi di hi was a sitcom by the BBC in the 1980's created by Jimmy Perry and David Croft. It centred around a fictional 'Maplins holiday' camp. The location shots were filmed in a Warner camp south of Dovercourt south west of Harwich. The camp has now been knocked down to make way for a housing estate.
