near a wap's nest The pub scene was at the pub formerly known as the Alma Arms at Weston Green in Surrey and the scene at the fete was at the now-demolished 'Wilderness', a Victorian country house used by Standard Chartered Bank as their sports ground but pulled down to create yet another 'Executive Homes' enclave.
The View Point Inn at 40301 East Larch Mountain Road, Corbett, Oregon. A large part of the building was destroyed by a fire in 2011. The owners filed for bankruptcy and repairs have not been made.

According to stories, the Roycroft Inn is haunted. However, I, personally, do not have any proof of a haunting, myself.

The actual hotel is called Heritage House Inn and is on the Mendocino coast in Little River, Northern California. The writer of this movie and his wife stayed at this Inn many times which is why he wanted the movie filmed there.
The exteriors for the Inn were shot in Monte Rio, in Sonoma County, CA. The interiors were shot at Paramount Pictures
