After the Original Mirrors Steve Allen went into various bands that didn't get too far past the start up stage like Hot Club with ex Pistol Glen Matlock (although they toured and released a single on RAK produced by Mickie Most not much is known about this band) and 'Samouri' with Pete Farndon and Topper Headon which didn't release anything commercially before going solo succesfully with a few pan European hits under the name Steve Allen signed to Polydor Records Italy surfacing on radio and TV in Italy, France, Germany, Belgium, Holland through the 80's.
He then turned to management with Espiritu which was signed to Heavenly Records in the UK before taking up an A&R post at Warner UK (WEA at the time) in the mid 90's running the very successful Eternal label, a dance-pop imprint featuring many number 1 hits and including the Outhere Bros, Gina G, Everything But the Girl, Black Legend, Eifell65, Dario G.
