Lonnie Hayes played with the "Family Band" in Dickson TN. That was back in the early 80"s. He sang a song called "Pretty Lady" that I dance with a man that would soon be my husband. I loved his singing, it was beautiful. Last I seen Lonnie, I did not recognize him. But when he spoke I knew it was him. He ask me if I ever listen to the song "Pretty Lady". I knew it was him. Thank you Lonnie for the song that gave me the man I have been married to for 21 years and together for 26.

Hollow rivets are assembled on a pin often called a mandrel. The mandrel is used to insert the hollow rivet into the workpiece before the ends are secured and the mandrel is removed.
Simply said, a mandrel is a tool used to shape machines. In mufflers, it is tubing usually made of steel used as a support when bending exhaust pipes. The main reason for this is to reduce the possibility of deformation as much as possible. The mandrel bends with the pipe stretching on the outside of the bend and compressing on the inside ensuring a constant diameter bend that reduces restrictions.
Helical springs are the typical, common, wound springs used in tension or compression. The term 'helical' comes from the spring being a helix- the wire is wound around a mandrel, advancing along the length of the mandrel as it is wound.
