Funny, I was looking to buy one too for decoration in my music room. So although I don't know where to buy one just like his, this is what I know. Slash actually stole (ok, borrowed it for a long, long time) his first top hat along with a belt and then realized they looked really cool together, this I believe is the hat you see in many of the 'Appetite for Destruction' sessions. I guess if you buy a similar hat / belt combo you can come up with a pretty good replica. (Minus the stealing path though) I've also seen a different version that included a snake's skull up front; this one is displayed at a Hard Rock cafe somewhere (I'm tempted to say I saw it in the Phoenix, Az one but I'm not even sure if that one is still in business) For Slash's own depiction of how he came upon his now trademark hat, go ahead and buy the man's book, hardly a literary masterpiece but entertaining enough. Hope this gets the ball rolling...
