Various places. Some of the interiors are sound stages at Leavesden Studios, but some are parts of real buildings. Hogwarts interiors have been filmed at Oxford University, Gloucester Cathedral, and St. Paul's Cathedral, among other locations. Some exteriors have been filmed at Alnwick Castle, though the distant shots of Hogwarts are done with miniatures and CGI.

Hogwarts was filmed in many places. Some areas of the school were built as sets at Leavesden Film Studios in Watford, England. Other areas of Hogwarts were filmed at various real locations around England. Listing every location they used over the years would be quite tedious, but they mainly used cathedrals and universities.

The first 2 books were filmed at Alnwick Castle. I am not sure about the ones after. :(
