Jerry Seinfeld's apartment building is located on 8th street between Columbus and Central Park West in Manhattan/New York City, New York. It is on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.

Added 12/22/11: There is no 8th street between Columbus and Central Park West or anywhere on the upper west side. It could be 81st through 89th (80th stops at Columbus). My money would be on 81st since Jerry Seinfeld actually lived at 128 W. 81st for a time, but that address lies one block over between Columbus and Amsterdam. Of course the actual building exterior shown on the show in located in Los Angeles.

Los Angeles though a lot of the stock footage is from New York. The exterior of his building is actually in LA on New Hampshire Blvd...I think
