Where are the original band members of the honeycombs now?

The Honeycombs founder, Martin Murray, is still heading up a new line up of the band. They recorded seven tracks in October 2011 and have gigs lined up for 2012. see thehoneycombs.biz

Honey Lantree got married and is now a grandmother.

Alan Ward, did NOT emigrate to Australia (contrary to some reports elsewhere on the web) He ran a music shop and manufactured speakers and amplifiers in Walthamstow for many years, as well as scoring music and running a studio there. I am told that he is now retired and living in Norfolk or Suffolk.

John Lantree I don't know much about but he had a successful sign making company for many years.

Denis D'Ell of course very sadly died of cancer in 2005. (please donate generously to cancer charities)

I don't know about Peter Pye, who replaced Martin Murray at the end of 1964.

Rod Butler is now a Karate Sensei in London and has written a book about his old sensei.

Eddy Spence is now Eddie Spence and plays keyboards with The Glitter band

Colin Boyd became Colin Hare and of course was part of Honeybus who had a hit with She Flies Like A Bird. He is still around as far as I am aware although attempts to contact him have proved fruitless so far.
