I am a decent of Marcus Decker Schoonmaker born Oct. 19, 1855 in Rochester, New York. Marcus died in Rochester in 1899. His father was David Schoonmaker and Catharine Schoonmaker (Maiden name believed to be Schoonmaker).

Marcus married Elizabeth (Libbie) Thorne (1858-1935). I am related to their youngest son, Marcus Decker Schoonmaker (named after father), born 1889 in Accord, NY. His other son's are, as known. Howard (1878), Bernard (1880), Ephrim (1882), Scott (1884), Bertrum "Bert" (1888) and then of course Marcus (1889).

• Daughters - Mary T (1876), Katherine "Katie" (1886), and Viola (1895).

Marcus D. Schoonmaker born 1889 married Isabel Bremner (from Wick, Scotland). Their oldest child was Vivian Schoonmaker (1916-1966). Vivian is my grandmother on my mother's side of family. My mother was Isabelle Ann Heaton (1935-2010).

I am trying to find any information on David Schoonmaker and Catharine Schoonmaker. Any assitance would help. Thank you.
