NEW ORDER which consisted of former members of joy division peter hook, bernard sumner and Stephen Morris.

basicly after joy division, these members of the band left went on to be one of the most critical acclaimed and highly influential bands of the 1980's

the reason for the disbandment as you probably know was, after the suicide of ian curtis bernard sumner (the guitarist of joy division) went on to take the lead vocal role and was unable to pull it off the band was getting bad criticism because of this criticism they reformed later in 1980 under the new name "NEW ORDER" a more new wave, electronic sound... Btw joy division are the best my favorite band off all time
