When is lucky star season 2 coming out?

There isn't a second season. But there is an OVA that wasn't dubbed in English and there is going to be a live-action spinoff of Lucky Star where the Japanese seiyuus of the anime go on a go-kart race.

Unfortunately, everything about there being a second season is false. I really wish there was and there's so much in the manga that they could easily make a second season, but there has been no official announcement for it. Sorry.

Well, honey, I hate to burst your bubble, but Lucky Star season 2 doesn't exist. It's like waiting for a unicorn to show up at your doorstep - it's just not gonna happen. So grab some popcorn, rewatch season 1, and enjoy the nostalgia instead of holding out for something that ain't gonna happen.

It's not. It was confirmed on New Years that it's an adaptation of the spin-off manga, not a sequel or another series entirely.
