Spongebob dies in the Spongebob V-S King Teptune Episode in the Spongebob Season 4 Special DVD. The DVD was released in 2007 due to high ratings. Spongebob is killed by getting shocked by Jellyfish controlled by Planton's new revised mind controll device. Although Spongebob dies (covered in ashes) Garry the Snail, Sandy, Patrick and Mr.Krabs escape while he takes on the Jellyfish. However, the episode was unfinished due to low ratings on recent SpongeBob episodes aired on Nickolodeon. The DVD's unfinished episodes were shown on.

If they keep making new episodes and see that viewers are still interested theyw ill continue to make episodes until the viewers loos interest, so if we lose our taste for talking , underwater sponges and friends they will probably have to cancel it but i hope it doesnt end soon, SpongeBob is funny at least i think so.
