If you mean Greenjou Jaggerjack, he dies in Bleach-episode 167 after he and Ichigo fight to the death while also protecting Nel and Orihime. (Ichigo is the Protector-duh!) This is all happening because Ukiora took Orihime to Wako Mundo to show her to Lord Eizen to show her healing powers by restoring Greenjou's arm. Then Ichigo,Chad,Uriyuu,Renji,and Rukia go to save her but get side-tracked by Eizen's best arankars and his aspada.
Actually if you look on later episodes grimmjow is still alive but bleach goes into a filler arc and you dont see arrancar again for about 60 episodes
there are a total of two arcs during the arrancar story im on episode 265 and the arrancar story is still going on.
No, he is not dead. it is unkown where he is right now, but many fans believe that he will come back in the last minute to save ichigo just like ichigo save him from the 5th espada.

it is episode 166 of bleach when ichigo fights grimmjow in what looks like a stadium surrounded by large red cylinders. ichigo wins to grimmjow and stabs him in what looks like his heart and he is about to fall to the ground when ichigo grabs his hand and stops him from falling to the floor. i have heard that grimmjow is still alive after that :D and nearly dies from nnoitra's blade and when he is about to kill grimmjow ichigo saves him.
