The new season will begin in the US in January 2009. There will be a 2-hour prequel of sorts to the new series that will air a few weeks before the start of the new season.

Update May 9,2013! it was now confirm that 24 is coming back on says Kiefer Southerland! since the Touch got cancelled on Fox Today on May 9,2013. so it may be a limited series though!

It starts Sunday January 17, 2010 for the 2 night 4 hour premiere. And it's the final season of 24, after that they're making a movie.
