The Yardbirds' only tour of Australia was in January 1967, as part of the "Big Show" tour with Roy Orbison and The Walker Bros. On January 26-27 the tour played Melbourne Festival Hall, supported by Johnny Young & Kompany, and The Mixtures. After the show a custom-made Gibson Les Paul (loaned to Yardbirds guitarist Jimmy Page for the tour by Keith Richards) was stolen, as well as Fender guitar belonging to Mixtures' guitarist Laurie Arthur.
They don't have extra information, but I can add that there was a possible promotional stopover in Perth on Friday 19th January; appearances at the Sydney Stadium on 21st and 23rd; January 25th 1967 Centennial Hall, Adelaide; January 26, 27 and 28th Festival Hall, Melbourne. I haven't found any mention of Brisbane yet, but I would be surprised if there weren't a concert there.
