Yes, sadly, Nick was diagnosed with Type 1: Diabetes in November 2005. Nick has gone public with his diabetes, telling his story to everyone and helping out with others who have been diagnosed with this disease. Nick has written a song about his diabetes which is on their 2nd most recent CD, and the CD is even called A Little Bit Longer. He also wears an insulin pump which delivers insulin to him in lieu of multiple daily injections. Although the diabetes makes his life tough, Nick continues to be a great musician and he is amazing all around. He continues to be my favorite music artist, even when my friends all dont like JoBros anymore.

Diabetes is something that just happens No One Knows Why Or How You Get Diagnosed nick found out he had diabetes because he was drinking alot of water and lost alot of weight his mom (Denis Jonas) took him to the doctor and told nick that he was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes and told him how to manage it.
