He then left his family. I don't know any further details of his life, but he died this past February 10th, 2012 as a resident of Riviera Beach, FL. I visited the grave of his father Toots Shor recently and was surprised to see Rory buried next to him at Ferncliff Cemetery in Hartsdale, NY.
