2001 was nearing the end of the Boy Band era, Backstreet Boys, Brittney.. all that stuff. Vertical Horizon had a couple of hits. I recall Fuel being fairly popular at the time.. Creed was fairly popular. Moby released his album "Play" that was hugely popular around that time. I recall hearing "Southside" ALL the time.. Several tracks were radio friendly like "Natural Blues".. That is a good example of music of that particular era. No Doubt was still riding pretty high at that point.. I believe the current album then was Return to Saturn with "Ex Girlfriend" and "Simple Kind of Life"
