Ststua quo are a british rock band which formed in 1966. Francis rossi and Alan Lancaster were the founders. With various changes in the band over the years they now have a line up with, Francis Rossi, Rick Parfitt, Andrew Bown, John Rhino` Edwards and Matthew Letley. Status quo have sold about 120 million records and have had 65 UK chart hitters. 22 of them have reached top 10. They have had 33 hit albums, the second highest ever!!!! The band have appeared on top of the pops 110 times, more than any other band. In 2008 and 2009 the band were announced Britain's hardest working band with 35 arena shows to over 300,000 people. There is no doubt they are one of the most sucessfull british rock bands of all time. They still tour the UK every year, playing big arenas and still manage to bring in the crowds. Recently francis Rossi and Rick Parfitt were given OBE`S for theyre outstanding contribution to music and charity work.
