Miss Landers ; the late Sue Randall (October 8, 1935 - October 26, 1984) played schoolteacher Alice Landers . Later in the series, "Mrs. Rayburn" played by the late Doris Packer (May 30, 1904 -March 31, 1979), was also a teacher of "The Beaver".

Beaver's real name, Theodore was based on June's Aunt Martha's brother.
