Haymitch Abernathy is a fictional character, creatin by Susan Collions. He was the winner of the second Quater Quell (50th Hunger Games). He was also the mentor of Peeta Mellark and Katniss Everdeen.
Haymitch lived in district 12, and after he won, President Snow killed his mother, and "his girl" (meaning girlfriend) for using a force field to kill the last tribute. Ever since then Haymitch had been drinking. He is a drunk.
Haymitch was from the seam, meaning he is tan(olive colored skin) and Grey eyes. He's said to have been 40 in the Hungry Games.
Haymitch Abermathy is a male victor from District 12.
He is at first a little annoying, as he constantly drowns himself in liqour, but as the trilogy progresses, he becomes more sincere and you find out some of the reasons as to his behaviour. Altogether, he is very enigmatic, but a brilliant example of a person's reaction to difficulties in life.
Haymitch Abernathy was the winner of the fiftieth Hunger Games. He was the only living victor from District 12 before Katniss and Peeta became tributes. He was their mentor during the 74th Hunger Games. *spoiler alert for catching fire* He was also chosen to be a tribute in the Quarter Quell in the 75th Hunger Games, but Peeta volunteered and took his place. Haymitch then became their mentor again.
Haymitch Abernathy is one of the main characters in the best selling novel The Hunger Games he serves as a mentor for Peeta and Katniss for the hunger games,a previous winner himself he was actually not that bad looking but brcause of the darkness he was exposed to in the hunger games haymitch became a washed up drunk who while can give some very good advice sometimes is also very hermitty with an attitude to match Haymitch is a sarcastic rude troglodyte but he does have his moments and can be very sharp he is one of the characters to whom I wish the odds be ever in his favor :)
