The last song the string quartet plays is called "Nearer, My God, to Thee".
The song you are talking about is probably the Toxicity version from the album "String Quartet Tribute to System of a Down" created by varius artists. Apocalyptica has nothing to do with either of the songs of that album.
The song is" That soldier was me "by the Primitive Quartet
I think you are referring to the songs "Orion" & "Stairway to Heaven" as performed by Rodrigo Y Gabriela in their live recording "Live in Japan." They also have a self-titled studio album in which they have an amazing version of "Orion" Although it sounds much like Apocalyptica, "Stairway to Heaven" is actually preformed by the String Quartet . It is the #2 track in the album "The String Quartet Tribute To Led Zeppelin"
Faraway Vol. 2
I don't think so. The only song that I remember being played in Titanic was "My Heart Will Go On" in various renditions. I know "In the Arms of the Angels" or "Angels" was played in the movie "City of Angels" with Nicholas Cage, but I don't think it was in the movie "Titanic".

You can play any song without a D string. It won't sound right but it can be done........
Tomaso Albinoni's Sinfonia in G Major, I Allegro
Everyone asks me to play the titanic theme!!!
There aren't many that come to mind, but you can always just play whatever notes you would on the G-string five frets up on the D-string. For example, if you had to play the 3rd fret of the G-string, you could just play the 8th fret of the D-string.
I have been looking for it for months and just found it. There are a few but the song on most of the commercials plays a looped bit from the beginning of a song called the "String Quartet in F, Second Movement"... Check it out, hoped that helps.
