Most people including the nice folks at the Andy Griffith Museum , which is in Mt. Airy North Carolina will tell you that he was in five but he was actually in six. It is true that he was in five as Ernest T. Bass, however he was also in an episode where he played the part of a TV repairman. In this episode Barney had convinced Andy and Helen to take a Saturday off so they could spend some quiet time together. Which, naturally turned out to be anything close to some quiet time together. It is also worth mentioning that Andy's high school friend, Emmett Forrest who is the person that Emmett's fix-it-shop was patterned buy, works at the Andy Griffith Museum as a volunteer. It is also important to know that Betty Lynn aka Thelma Lou, now lives in Mt. Airy N.C. and makes monthly visits to the museum, she is a wonderful person and a joy to talk with. I meet her several years ago at the same time I also meet Emmett. Betty was very kind and we talked for a while then she gave me a little "Kissie" on my jaw (which I had photographed) she also autographed two of Aunt Bee's cook books. I returned their kindness and donated a very old but framed album of Andy Griffith to the museum. My last name is Triplett and I live in Winston-Salem

which are both towns in NC and both towns were mentioned on the Andy Griffith Show. They also have a monthly newsletter that they will e-mail to you.

Just contact the Surry County Arts Council in N.C., which is the county that Mt. Airy is in, and you can subscribe to this monthly newsletter. And always remember to "Nip-it...Nip-it...in the bud

If you mean Andy Griffith from "The Andy Griffith Show". Then IMDB shows 21 movies - all TV movies. He was in the theatrical film No Time For Sargeants" and Elia Kazan's " A Face in the Crowd" a surprisingly great dramatic performance. Also, he was in 2007 film "Waitress" starring Keri Russell.
