Lauryn Hill once said "Real religion is no religion at all." But does believe in a God. She is also married to a Rastafarian.
I'm pretty sure she's a Christian. A lot of her lyrics are spiritual, and she has talked about Jesus. When she said, "Real religion is no religion at all." I think she may be talking about it being a relationship with God, rather than just doing things to fulfill the religious purpose. Christianity is about a relationship with Jesus and other religions are more based on doing things to fulfill their religious purpose. My pastor says that religion is spelled "do" and Christianity is spelled "done" because Jesus has already paid for our sins and once you accept Jesus as your savior and creator you are saved. And you continue to have a relationship with God. Living for God makes you want to do things for him because you truly want to, not just to do it so that you will be saved. Other religions rely so much on what you do to earn something, but in Christianity it is because you want to do things for God because you truly love him and have a passion to do his work.
