you dont see horror dreams every night its only if you watch a horror movie before you go to bed or see a scary thing before you go to bed the reason why horrors and scary things may cause bad dreams is because in the movie you might see a gory thing and renember it thus you cant then get it out of your head (memory) and you keep thinking about it and you are scared so when you go to bed you cant stop thinking about it thus far you dream about it because that was the last thing you renemberd and the memory that stands out in your mind more.
