It really depends on what kind of architecture you are talking about. If you are talking about cookie cutter houses of modern-American suburbs, than there really is not anything interesting. However, if you were talking about homes that are unique like Frank Lloyd Wright's falling water the most interesting thing is that a house can be beautiful like a peice of art in which someone lives in. Architects design homes to be spaces for people to interact and live in and the beauty of the exterior can be amazing. Wouldn't you like to live in a peice of art? Of course, if you are talking about historical architecture it is interesting for many different reasons. The main reason is that you have hundred-year old buildings that are still standing strong and through all the rains and winds they remain. Another thing that makes historical architecture really interesting is the way that the culture is so apparent in the buildings, homes, and churches. For example, the churches of the Dark Ages are covered in scary gargoyles and demons, which shows their negativity and pessimistic attitude. These churches are a sharp contrast to churches during the Italian Renaissance in which we see many pictures of benevolent angels and Jesus helping people and God is seen in a more positive light.
