The vehicle has been maintained. It has been used as a prop with some travelling athletic team from North Carolina. I found out about this accidentally. A friend of mine sent me some newspaper item about a collegiate Wrestling match- I could not figure out a somewhat obsolescent looking Police car, then read the caption. So it is still around and used as a prop. Never saw any real law-enforcement action anyhow.
