There have been many versions of the story of Anastasia of the Russian royal family. During the Russian Revolution, Anastasia managed to escape the siege on the house of the Romanovs but developed amnesia due to a blow to her head. In an attempt to discover her past, she travels to Paris where she meets up with con men who plan to pass her off as Anastasia to collect the reward money, completely unaware that she is the real Anastasia.
1997's animated film "Anastasia" features the voice of Meg Ryan in the lead role. 1956's "Anastasia" featured Ingrid Bergman in the title role. She won the Best Actress Oscar for her performance.
