Any story that isn't the right story of Swan Lake, I would assume.
I would have to agree.
Black Swan is inspired by Swan Lake, the Tchaikovsky ballet.
so far I have not seen the film/movie, but I believe from my own knowledge of the story line and from going to see the ballet that the music from the music box is one of the pieces from the original ballet composed by Tchaikovsky himself. These pieces were fitted for the story line, you can watch some of the dance performances to them on youtube, but his pieces are most likely due to the recurring theme of the black swan/swan lake idea and also because of the popularity of the swan lake music for music boxes.

Many critics have disputed the original source of the Swan Lake story. The Russian ballet patriarch Fyodor Lopukhov has called Swan Lake a "national ballet" because of its swans, who originate from Russian lyrically romantic sources, while many of the movements of the corps de ballet originated from Slavonic ring-dances.[ 4] According to Lopukhov, "both the plot of Swan Lake, the image of the Swan and the very idea of a faithful love are essentially Russian"
