What is the theme of high school musical?

High School musical 3 is going to come out (in theaters) and is being filmed right now. HSM2 was a very good movie, but I don't believe it was as good as the first one. The music in the second one was better though.

High school musical 2 is About a Boy (Troy Bolton) that is hired to work at "Lava Springs" (Sharpay's family owns the place) during his summer break with the wildcat super stars and other school friends. Later Troy starts turning on his friends and missing dates with Gabriella because he is working on his "future" and trying to get a Basketball scholarship. The wildcats start getting frustrated when Troy starts getting a higher pay and getting more privileges at Lava Springs. Sharpay does all of this to him so he would just sing with her during the singing competition (and win the "star dazzle" award). Later Troy realizes that what he did was wrong and starts getting himself together. At the end Gabriella and Troy sing "Everyday" and they kiss at the end. And at the very end, there is a staff party and Miley Cyrus is shown dancing for a few seconds. == ==

The theme is the main characters' Senior Year in High School. The prom, the graduation, it's senior year. It's called High School Musical: Senior Year. I think it's amazing how they can fit a whole year of High School into a tiny little movie.

Schools Out! Troy plans to spend the holiday playing basketball. Sharpay is going to her country club in Lava Springs where she is treated like a princess!
