This song is very much about one of her best friends who became anorexic and ended up in the hospital. She wrote this song for her best friend to show her and tell her how much she was loved. It has everything to do with getting to know each other and growing closer together as friends and Stacie was just trying to let her friend know that even though life can suck she will always be there to listen.
