I'm not entirely sure what you mean by solution. If you're talking about the potion which Harry drinks near the end of the book, that's Felix Felicis, otherwise known as Liquid Luck. Harry uses this to help him get the unaltered memory from Professor Slughorn.

If you're referring to the "solution" of the riddle of who the half-blood prince is, the answer is Snape. Snape's father was a muggle, making him a "half-blood" wizard. His mother's last name was Prince, making him the Half-Blood Prince.

Harry comes to terms with Sirius as his godfather, both Peter and Sirius escape, and Lupin is fired. Less importantly, Sirius writes Harry a note that gives him permission to go to Hogsmeade.
