T.E. Lawrence, better known as Lawrence of Arabia, lived in a time when sexuality was not openly discussed, and we don't really know.

It is generally believed that he was most likely bisexual or gay based on accounts by people who were close to him at the time, although there was never any confirmation of this by Lawrence himself, probably because openness about homosexuality or bisexuality was forbidden in the British military at the time, as well as in Arab cultures.

There are also scholars who believe he was asexual.
