The point of view of third person, that of a narrator. It is also in past tense other than present tense.

Point of view means from which perspective a story is told. So if it was a character's point of view, the book would have sentences in first person like, "I walked through the doorway" rather than third person like, "He/she walked through the doorway." A widely know first person book/series is the Twilightseries written by Stephenie Meyer. The books (released) are primarily told in the point of view from Bella Swan's character. Though, some of the third and fourth book (Eclipse and Breaking Dawn) are told from the character of Jacob Black. It's also been announced that Stephenie is writing the fifth book, Midnight Sun. Which is a retold story of the first book from Edward Cullen's character's perspective.

Bella's and Jacob's. But Bella's is the majority of it. Her human-self and vampire-self.

It was in Bella's point of veiw, so she decribed everything, but in the forth book Jacob narrates in couple chapters and in Midnight Sun, it's Edward point of veiw.
